This has been a wonderful year of concerts, including a world premiere of Ingrid Arauco’s String Quartet No. 4, performances of newer masterworks by Reena Esmail, Osvaldo Golijov, Anna Thorvaldsdottir and Zhou Tian, and performances of older masterworks by Samuel Barber, Ludwig van Beethoven, Zoltán Kodály, and Felix Mendelssohn.

Our season finale featured artist in residence Paul Laraia’s arrangements of guitar pieces by Agustín Barrios Mangoré for solo viola, Florence Price’s String Quartet No. 2 and Mendelssohn’s delightful Viola Quintet No. 1.
