It is our great and sincere pleasure to invite you to our very first Family Concert, which will be at 10:30 am on Saturday May 11. The Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting has very generously sponsored our use of the Social Room, so we will be in our usual lovely home at 20 E. Mermaid Ln.

We will be presenting a one hour concert/conversation about the music that we love, the instruments we play, and the musical dialogues that make up a string quartet. We will perform some of our favorite repertoire, and will involve the audience with discussion and participation. We hope that all who attend will enjoy themselves and learn something! Please forward this invitation to anyone you think would be interested!

World-class chamber music in Chestnut Hill
with the Jasper String Quartet and Friends

Founded by and featuring Philadelphia's world renowned Jasper String Quartet, Jasper Chamber Concerts presents world-class chamber music performances in the beautiful and intimate Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting Skyspace.

Each program features a work connected to Philadelphia alongside traditional chamber music masterworks.

This season, the Jasper String Quartet plays Philadelphia-connected works by Patrick Castillo, Emily Cooley, Scott Ordway and Shelley Washington, as well as the Philadelphia premiere of Wild Summer by Joan Tower.

In addition, violist David Yang joins the Jaspers in May for Dvorak Viola Quintet and we kick off the season on November 8 with a string trio concert featuring the phenomenal Bach Goldberg Variations.
